Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage the organization's financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to management.
The role involves financial reporting, taxation, auditing, budgeting, and internal control systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, high integrity, and the ability to support business decisions through accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting systems
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance
- Ensure proper accounting entries and reconciliations
- Supervise the accounts team and accounting operations
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor budget vs actual performance
- Provide financial analysis for management decisions
- Support business planning and investment decisions
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Prepare and file VAT, PAN, Income Tax, and TDS returns
- Handle tax audits and assessments
- Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities
- Ensure statutory compliance as per government rules
Audit & Internal Control
- Prepare documents for internal and external audits
- Coordinate with auditors during audit cycles
- Implement and monitor internal control systems
- Identify financial risks and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Banking & Cash Management
- Manage bank accounts and daily transactions
- Handle loans, Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG) , and financing matters
- Monitor receivables and payables
- Maintain proper cash flow planning
Payroll & Expense Control
- Verify payroll, benefits, and deductions
- Monitor company expenses and ensure policy compliance
- Approve financial transactions within authority
- Ensure accurate and timely salary processing
Reporting to Management
- Provide regular financial reports and insights to management
- Present financial status in meetings
- Support decision-making with data-driven analysis
- Suggest cost-saving strategies and efficiency improvements
Legal & Statutory Matters
- Ensure compliance with Company Law and other regulations
- Handle government reporting and filings
- Maintain statutory records and registers
- Support company registration, renewal, and licensing activities
Required Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified and certified
- Membership of ICAI / ICAN / ACCA / CPA (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management
